A quality sewing machine is one of the better investments for those who like to sew. Being your own fashion designer so-to-speak has many monetary and creative rewards to it. From your two great choices here I am leaning toward the Singer 4452 HD due to its motor speed and adjustable presser foot pressure (say that 10x fast).
